伴隨著全球化浪潮的日益推進,世界上不同的國家正緊密結合在一起。 With the rapid development of globalization, different countries in the world are closely linked. 全球化帶來了前所未有的合作和競爭,無論是從本土還是全球的角度,我們都渴望為全球公民履行自身的義務,也更加珍惜這個與我們息息相關的世界。 No matter from the local or global perspectives, globalization has brought unprecedented cooperation and competition. Meanwhile, we are eager to fulfill our obligations for being global citizens and cherish the world closely related with us. 因此,國際理解教育受到大家青睞,而我們作為教育工作者的職責尤為明確:培養學生適應社會發展的變化,從“文化理解,社會理解,信息表達”等方面,正確認識自己,尊重他人,學會交流與合作,具有團隊精神,理解文化的多樣性,初步具有面向世界的開放意識。這也是嘉峪關學校國際理解社團創立的初衷。 Therefore, International Understanding Education is favored by all, and our responsibilities as educators are particularly clear, which include students should be trained to adapt to the changes of social development. From the aspects of cultural understanding, social understanding and information expression, students should correctly understand themselves, respect others, learn to communicate and cooperate, have team spirit, understand the diversity of culture, and have a basic open sense of facing the world. This is also our original intention of founding the International Understanding Club of Jiayuguan School. 我們選用由劍橋大學出版社教育專家Herbert Puchta及其團隊精心雕琢的以開發智力、強化思維、師生互動為特色的系列英語教學課程--《劍橋少兒英語 Super Minds》作為帶領孩子們理解這個世界的課程載體。 We chose a series of English textbooks named Super minds, which are elaborately designed by Herbert Puchta, an education expert of Cambridge University Press, and his team, with the characteristics of developing intelligence, strengthening thinking ability and teacher-student interaction as the course carrier to lead children to understand the world. 此系列課程不僅能培養學生的英語能力,而且重點發展讓學生終身受益的思考能力、創造能力、大腦記憶能力和精神注意力,使學生的大腦得以最有效的開發。 The series of courses can not only cultivate students' English ability, but also focus on the development of thinking ability, creative ability, memory ability and mental attention ability that benefit students for life, so that students' brain can be most effectively developed. 課程內容圍繞小主人公們探索世界的歷程而展開,故事情節趣味十足,充分激發學生學習興趣,同時使學生的修養和素質在潛移默化中得到塑造和提升。隨著課程難度的增加,還能夠了解各個國家的政治、文化、地理,經濟等知識。不僅提高了英語能力,還達到了各國人民之間相互理解和相互關心。 The content of the course revolves around the story about the process of the little heroes' exploring the world. The story is full of attractions, which is fully arousing the students' interest in learning. At the same time, it is shaping and improving the students' personal accomplishment and quality in a subtle way. With the increase of the difficulty of the course, students can also understand the politics, culture, geography, economy and other knowledge about different countries in the world. It not only can help to improve students ‘English ability, but also achieve mutual understanding and mutual concern among people of all countries. 學生通過對國際理解課程的學習,進而可以了解到國家的文化習俗,有效地獲取所需信息,從而能夠跟上國際的步伐,培養了學生的國際意識,讓他們了解了國際的多元化,拓寬了他們的視野,吸收各種多元文化的精華,使其能夠以國際的眼光去面對問題。 By learning the course of International Understanding, students can learn that they understand the cultural customs in different countries and effectively acquire the information they need, so that they can keep pace with the international development. The course also can cultivate their international awareness, enable them to understand the diversity of the world, broaden their horizons and absorb the essence of all kinds of multiculturalism as well, so that they can face problems in an international perspective.
